Sex Therapy
If you’re having any difficulties enjoying sexual intimacy with your partner or on your own, Chris Anderson can help you navigate it through Sex Therapy based in Orlando, Florida and serving anyone in Florida through online therapy.
When sexual intimacy is lacking, it can take a lot of the joy out of a relationship. It can compound any of the other issues you might be having with your partner.
Perhaps you’re feeling anxiety about your performance in bed, whether it’s erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, or difficulty reaching orgasm, to name a few. You worry about not being good enough to hold your partner’s attention.
Or, maybe you’ve experienced sexual trauma in your past, and it keeps rearing its ugly head when you try to be intimate with your partner, even if they weren’t the one to traumatize you. Alternatively, either you or your partner have had an affair, and you just can’t figure out how to get through it.
No matter what you try, you can’t seem to get that trust back after such a betrayal. Perhaps you’re having difficulty figuring out or dealing with your sexual orientation or gender identity.

This training covered a wide variety of issues pertaining to human sexuality, and gave me the tools to help people in this area. I am very sex positive and open-minded when it comes to issues you might be facing in this topic.
My 8 years of therapeutic experience have often put me in the position of working through sexual issues with people in a number of different ways.

Each session is tailored to your unique needs so a sex therapy session will be a bit different for everyone. However generally, a therapist will begin by assessing your concerns and discussing your sexual history in a safe environment. Expect open dialogue, education on sexual health, and goal setting to address specific issues. The therapist may introduce techniques or exercises to enhance intimacy and connection, and you’ll regularly review progress and make adjustments as needed.

The best therapy for sexual issues varies based on individual concerns but commonly includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic therapy, amongst others. These approaches focus on improving communication, addressing negative thought patterns, and enhancing emotional connection. Techniques like mindfulness can also be beneficial. A qualified therapist will be able to help determine the most effective method for your situation.
